THE BITCOIN GIFT GUIDE FOR FATHER'S DAY
Apart from unwinding on the couch with a nice beer in the company of family, dads don't require much. We've already established our families. This is something I say as a father of three, with my eight-year-old wife just giving birth to our third child.
Most things, if you think about it, will eventually wind up in the trash. Many of the things we buy our kids as gifts are what I call "future rubbish." It's an unintended consequence of our fiat-based culture. What's a proven approach to maintain year-over-year earnings growth? By creating items that aren't long lasting.
So, instead of spending $100 or more on a thoughtful gift that will probably end up in the garbage, consider a longer-term investment. If you will, call it a gift with a low time preference. Allow your children to draw pictures and paint rocks, which I proudly display in my office, and save a few dollars for something that will endure a long time.
